In Gatteo, one floor up, with a lift for the suitcases. The balcony looks over the fields, and the beach is a five-minute drive away.

Room by room

The sleeping area is at the end of the hallway, living room and kitchen on the opposite side: whoever goes to sleep doesn't hear whoever still feels like talking.

The heart of the home

The living room invites you to spend time together, around the glass table with six chairs or on the large corner sofa, roomy enough for a fifth guest to sleep on. There's a television, air conditioning and a French window onto the balcony.

The light stone wall takes up a whole side: in the afternoon it changes along with the light.

A kitchen for having dinner in

You have breakfast whenever you prefer, with freshly squeezed juice, toast and a home-made cappuccino. In the evening you can cook what you bought at the port or at the market.

You'll find a gas hob, oven, extractor hood, fridge, air fryer and dishwasher, and there's a washing machine as well. For breakfast there's a capsule coffee machine, milk frother, kettle, toaster and citrus juicer.

The kids' room has stayed the kids' room

The double room has a padded headboard and two nightstands, each with its own lamp. The other bedroom, with two single beds and a sliding-door wardrobe, was Massimiliano Placentino's children's room: that's why it has simply stayed the kids' room.

Children are welcome at any age: on request there's a cot, at no charge.

A little space outdoors too.

The balcony is one more room of the house. For breakfast, a coffee, or simply a few minutes of fresh air.

It looks out over the countryside, with a stone pine in front. Behind it, ploughed earth and low houses. Outside there's a small table with two folding chairs and their cushions; in the evening, from here you only hear the fields.

Two bathrooms, both with a shower

In the main bathroom, the shower is framed by decorative cement tiles and the washbasin rests on a glass counter.

The second bathroom has been redone: light wood cabinet, white washbasin, large mirror, shower and a small wooden ladder for towels. There is a bidet in one of the two bathrooms.

For each of you there's a bath towel, a hand towel and a guest towel, all included.

You leave the car right below.

The space is free and it's under the house: you unload the suitcases in front of the door, and after that you only use the car when you decide to. On request, for an extra charge, there is also a private street-level garage.
